Salary Range $275,000 - $375,000 (depending on experience) + benefits!
Requirements to apply:
- Successful completion of M.D. degree with at least two years of experience in a mental health setting; or an equivalent combination of training and experience needed.
- Prefer experience within an outpatient clinic setting.
- Must have experience working with patients of all age levels and demographics.
- CA Board certified or board eligible (having taken exam) in child and/or adult psychiatry.
- Must have proof of Covid vaccination.
- Prefer bilingual Spanish to some degree, at least Medical Spanish (not required).

The demographic served includes seriously mentally ill patients of all age groups, spanning children, adolescents, adults, and older adults within a primary care setting. In addition to direct patient care, the staff psychiatrist collaborates as a consultant with behavioral health clinicians and primary care providers to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans. This extends to addressing physical health, mental health, and substance use issues. The role involves crisis intervention services when required, ensuring culturally appropriate delivery of behavioral health services compliant with California laws, professional standards, agency guidelines, and ethical principles.
