GI Hospitalist opportunity in Mattoon, Illinois - Located 3 hours from Chicago; 2 hours from St Louis; 1.5 hours from Springfield, IL - Service area of 50,000 people Position Details: - Seeking a GI Hospitalist or GI Traditional- Full-time- Practice includes one full time Gastroenterologist, one full time GI Hospitalist, two part time Gastroenterologist and one full time APP- Office is attached to hospital for easy access to inpatient consults- Can consider 4 day a week traditional practice or 7 on 7 off GI Hospitalist Practice Compensation - $600,000 + bonus based on RVU production- $75,000 sign-on bonus- $60,000 total retention bonus (paid $20,000 at the end of years 1, 2 & 3)- Quality bonus up to 10% of base salary (eligible upon earning base salary)- Time off varies by practice type- $6,000 CME annually About Mattoon: Centrally located in Mattoon, Health Center is a 128-bed, community hospital in East Central Illinois - 180 miles south of Chicago and 130 miles east of St. Louis.
