Family Practice - Without OB Physician at ProTouch Staffing summary:

The position of Family Practice - Without OB Physician involves providing medical examinations on a PRN basis, primarily focusing on interview-based assessments for veterans. Candidates must have their own office and be willing to travel to various locations as needed, completing either half-day or full-day sessions. Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is essential, along with a requirement to complete DMA training.

    • Locations Available- Please note at the time of name clear:

      Must be within 50 miles

      VES facility open locations

      1. Chico- 10 days per week needed (multiple providers)
      2. Eureka- 10 days per week needed (multiple providers)
      3. Ridgecrest- 10 days per week needed (multiple providers)

      Provider s own office locations- Provider must have their own office

      1. Susanville- 1 day per week needed
      2. Crescent City- 2 days per week needed
      3. Ft Irwin- 1 day per week needed
PRN as needed.

1099 compensation:
-$600 for half day (4 hours)
-$1300 for full day (8 hours)
-$650 for completing all required training and starting assignment

Details:

  • Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing
  • Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc, or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.
  • Two (2) options for coverage - Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice
  • Option to work days(4-hours) and/or full days(8-hours)
  • One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
  • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing.
  • No prescribing, no treatment
  • Quick credentialing & onboarding
  • DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
  • Use of Goniometer required
  • Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required
  • Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
  • Own personal laptop (NO MACs)

The provider will need to complete their DMA training.
