Hematology/Oncology Physician at Inspire Healthcare summary:

A Hematology/Oncology Physician is needed for a full-time position covering outpatient clinic and minimal hospital rounds. The role includes managing oncology patients, with an emphasis on patient contact and participation in clinical trials.   • BE or BC, but BC is HIGHLY PREFERREDbased on the complexity of the practice and the first physician will onsite alone a majority of the time.
  • Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, (very few) hospital rounds
  • Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) + On call
  • Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends)
  • Practice is in a phase ofrebuilding
  • Desired start date: ASAP
  • Approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-25
  • Facility's Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 2
  • State-of-the-art Cancer Center with Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984
  • On-site Radiation Oncology department
  • Robust Oncology supportive services
  • 24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with on-site pharmacist
  • On-site laboratory services
  • Epic EMR

  • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range: $500,000-$750,000 annually, depending upon training and experience. To be discussed at interview.
