Locums Gastroenterology - Rockport, ME Assignment Dates - Start Date: ASAP, ongoing- Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month Coverage Need - Monday - Friday, 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break- Endo procedures in the OR, potentially one clinic day per week Position Details - No weekends, no call- Patient Demographic: Adults, outpatient (office/clinic)- Support Staff: Full OR staff with both an anesthesiologist and CRNA for procedures- Average Clinic Volume: 14-16 patients per day- Onsite lab and x-ray- EMR: Epic Submissions Requirements - Active ME license preferred (will consider high-quality candidates without)- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) required- Institutional ADR: Minimum 35% required- Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month required- ACLS and BLS required- COVID and flu vaccines required Skill Requirements - Lower GI Endoscopy- Sigmoidoscopy- Colonoscopy- Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, and banding of varices)- Diagnostic procedures required- Advanced procedures preferred but not required
