As an Urgent Care Physician, I provide immediate medical care in a fast-paced clinic environment, handling 30-60 patients daily. I am board certified in Family Medicine, Med/Peds, or Emergency Medicine, with experience in emergency procedures such as laceration closure and EKG interpretation. My role involves working full-time or PRN hours, primarily managing patient care with minimal support staff in an urgent care setting.
- Work Dates Needed: as soon as credentialed
- Preferred Schedule: full time or PRN hours available; ideally will cover 8-10 shifts per month at minimum
- Worksite Setting: Urgent care clinic; Mostly a single coverage center; 12 hours M-Sat & 9 hours on Sunday
- Scope of Work: Urgent Care - Daily Patient Volume is 30-60. Clinics are busy and fast paced. Must be able to close lacerations, I&D, read X-ray and EKG, Work Comp experience a plus as well as DOT cert. MA s and RT. No nursing staff
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Must be board certified in Family Medicine, Med/Peds or Emergency Medicine. TX license and DEA, ACLS, PALS, Physicians need to have 3-6 years of FP, ER, or Urgent Care exp. and must be comfortable with children under 3 months old.
