Practice Setting
- Two locations consisting of a Level 3 trauma center and a community hospital
- Comprehensive specialty support available for most cases, excluding transplants, burns, and adult spine cases
- Ample specialty support from APCs
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling across various shifts!
- No call required - onsite coverage only
- Physician shifts range from 8-10 hours
Procedures and Cases
- Level 3 trauma center includes a certified stroke center
- Common cases include B&B pediatrics, ENT, ortho, and general surgery; higher-acuity pediatric cases are transferred out
Requirements
- Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine
- DEA certification required
- Kentucky state licensure or Interstate Medical License accepted
