Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a global manufacturer to recruit and hire a Full Time Field Services Engineer (HVAC/Hot Water Systems) to provide service and support to clients across the West Coast.
***This position requires at least 75% travel within California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and neighboring states. (Monday-Friday)***
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Travel to customer sites and provide technical services and installation support for water heating systems.
- Ensure water heating systems and other company products work effectively
- Visit customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and service systems.
- Provide technical guidance to customers and technicians.
- Write detailed reports on system performance and issues.
- Train and mentor new field technicians, and provide ongoing coaching and guidance.
- Support product development and work closely with engineering teams to test and improve products.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Perform inspections and coordinate start-up of systems for new installations.
Required:
- 75% travel within the assigned territory (3 out of 4 weeks per month, Monday-Friday)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical experience in water heaters, plumbing, HVAC, or similar products.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., gas supply, pumps, piping).
- Customer service and field support experience.
- Familiarity with PLCs, building integration systems, and national/state codes.
- Technical certifications preferred (e.g., EPA608, NATE).
