Raymond Plumbing & Heating located in Lorain, OH is looking to add a HVAC Service Technician to our growing team. Family owned and operated since 1957! We have provided the Cleveland, Lorain and Sandusky areas with reliable and convenient plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services.

Responsibilities:

• Services heating, ventilation, or air-conditioning (HVAC) systems or components.
• Repairs or replaces HVAC units, defective equipment, machines, systems, components, and
• wiring to meet specifications.
• Performs routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and determines what kind of maintenance or repair work is needed.
• Discusses heating or cooling system malfunctions with customers and provides solutions.
• Installs, connects, or adjusts thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
• Tests electrical circuits or components for proper functioning.
• Completes all required paperwork related to service calls including invoicing and billing.
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
• Ensures Company vehicles are cleaned and stocked with maintenance parts and supplies; restocks supplies on a weekly basis according to the supply checklist.
• Maintains tools and trucks and reports maintenance needs to management for approval.
• Operates lifts, tow motors, other equipment as necessary.
• Notifies the owner if any issues or concerns arise with a job.
• Orders parts and supplies; obtains approval from the owner as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required
• 5 or more years of HVAC experience required
• Valid driver’s license required
