Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain for one of our clients. The Chaplain will provide spiritual guidance, emotional support, and ethical advice to the leadership team and staff. This role fosters a supportive and enriching environment to enhance well-being and align with the organization’s values.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offer one-on-one spiritual counseling and regular prayer or reflection sessions.
  • Provide resources for personal and professional growth aligned with organizational values.
  • Serve as a trusted confidant for personal and professional challenges.
  • Facilitate crisis support and discussions on ethical or moral dilemmas.
  • Attend leadership meetings to provide spiritual and ethical insights.
  • Support policies that promote a positive organizational culture.
  • Build connections with local faith communities for additional support.
  • Lead workshops, retreats, and activities for spiritual and team development.
  • Create programs on leadership, ethics, emotional intelligence, and work-life balance.
  • Deliver training on stress management, financial literacy, and life coaching.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • A degree in theology, divinity, or a related field; ordination or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in pastoral care or spiritual advising, ideally in an organizational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with diverse individuals.
  • Knowledge of mental health and emotional well-being practices.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and navigate sensitive situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with program management software.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Works primarily out of the local office.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Prolonged sitting required, with the ability to operate office equipment which may include heavy lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner.
  • Requires flexibility, including occasional evenings or weekends, to meet the needs of leadership and staff.
  • Work may be conducted in-person and virtually.
