Opportunity Snapshot:

• Compensation: $55-65.00/hour
• Location: Bayport, TX
• Work Schedule: 9/80 - 40 hours+
• Assignment Duration: Long term

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience required;
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in instrument/electrical design
• Well versed in AutoCAD
• Previous experience working in refinery or chemical plant environment required
• Strong working knowledge of P&ID’s, instrumentation design details, control loop preparation, location plans, control panel layout.
• Ability to communicate and understand work issued by various disciplines and others involved in a project design
• Eligible to work for any U.S. employer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and develop design concepts.
• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and precise drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure that all designs and documentation comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
