Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney specializing in Creditor's Rights, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and Real Estate Law to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the legal landscape surrounding creditor's rights, foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy filings, and real estate transactions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively represent our clients in complex legal matters. Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate law.
  • Manage all aspects of foreclosure proceedings, including drafting and filing legal documents, conducting foreclosure sales, and representing clients in court hearings.
  • Assist clients with debt collection efforts, negotiating settlements, and enforcing creditor's rights.
  • Handle bankruptcy cases from inception to resolution, including analyzing financial documents, filing petitions, and representing clients in bankruptcy court.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare legal memoranda and briefs.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.


Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the VA state bar and in good standing with the state bar association.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate law.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal laws governing creditor's rights, foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy code, and real estate transactions.
  • Excellent litigation skills with experience representing clients in court proceedings.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and delivering results for clients.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working in a law firm specializing in creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or real estate law.
  • Additional certifications or training in bankruptcy law or real estate law.
  • Demonstrated success in handling complex legal matters and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Prior experience supervising or mentoring junior attorneys and support staff.
