A leading proppant and logistics company operating in the Permian Basin is looking for a Safety Specialist to join its team. Based in Odessa, TX, you would be responsible for providing safety leadership and support throughout the region. The Role:

• Promote a proactive safety culture for job site locations, with a heavy focus on employee engagement towards the corporate safety program.
• Undertake safety inspections, incident investigations, and audits as deemed necessary.
• Lead safety meetings and site-specific safety training for all employees in the Permian Basin.
• Build relationships with staff & leadership as a support to operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with both local and federal regulatory bodies e.g. OSHA.

The Candidate:

• Possess 3+ years of hands-on safety experience within either a proppant production, oil field services or similar environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental or related discipline (preferred)
• Proven experience working alongside OSHA or MSHA regulations. MSHA experience is critical.
• Strong communicator who is able to build relationships with operational staff & leadership.
• Local to the Permian Basin (West TX area) and able to travel as required.
