Summary

This position will be an key role tasked with managing the ERP system schedule for a high paced manufacturing machine shop. This strategic role is responsible for working with the shop floor supervisor to monitor the status of parts on the floor, update the system schedule to reflect the status, and work with manufacturing leadership to analyze/troubleshoot the best solutions to meet on time delivery requirements. This position will require an individual who can adapt to an ever changing schedule in the research and development aerospace industry. They can adapt to sudden machine changes utilizing available forecasting tools. The position will require a very high level of precise communication so that all departments are aware of operational needs and schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to company safety rules/policies

Analyzes current machine capacity and job router specifications to determine available machines for fastest and highest quality schedule.

Analyzes available personnel, hours, correct tooling and fixturing, etc. is in place for each job router to avoid any delays while parts are on machine.

Responsible for implementation and management of Epicor ERP schedule at all times.

Track and update progress of manufacturing operations including updating the scheduling software with progress, changes, and other pertinent data

Responsible for transferring manufacturing plans into ERP system and manufacturing scheduling software (Training may be provided by Epicor Consultant, as needed)

Reviews and releases production jobs to ensure accuracy and efficiency within the ERP system

Will collaborate with the management to provide available capacity for potential new orders, identify resource capacity conflicts, and to maintain OTD requirements

Log and address recurring issues and determine appropriate resolution as a continuous improvement initiative

Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn management team

Requirements

High School Diploma required

Previous Manufacturing Experience in Job Shop Environment

Previous work experience with Epicor or similar MRP/ERP software is preferred

• Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook & Project)

Strong oral, written and technical communication skills

Must be self-directed, and able to deliver under pressure, meeting customer and management deadlines

Must be highly motivated and be comfortable operating independently as well as within a team environment

• Must be customer-focused and able to work with customers and understand/react to their needs

Must have high levels of attention to detail, be able to multi-task and stay organized

Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally
