Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines (experience with Citizen and Miyano machines is a plus).
- Support field start-up operations and conduct customer training as needed.
- Replace components such as ball screws, motors, and cartridge spindles.
- Utilize ladder diagrams and diagnostic tools for all control systems.
- Provide phone-based troubleshooting support, which can be frequent and demanding at times.
- Perform first-part runoffs to ensure machines meet acceptance criteria.
- Travel domestically and internationally (including Mexico and Canada) as required.
- Align and integrate barfeed units with CNC machines.
- Set up and adjust tooling to precise specifications.
- Repair and replace spindle bearings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (Canada and Mexico).
- 3–6 years of experience with CNC machine repairs.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues with mechanical and electrical systems, including reading ladder diagrams and control diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers in person and over the phone.
- A valid driver’s license and passport.
- Solid understanding of geometry.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
