Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Jackson MI
The preferred expectation for this role is to have someone who can be onsite three days per week on a hybrid schedule in Jackson.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that the right individuals have access to the appropriate resources within an organization while also managing IAM-related projects. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing identity and access management systems, as well as overseeing project timelines, budgets, and team coordination to secure the organization’s digital assets effectively.
The right candidate will have the ability to drive the business objective of the project along with the coordination of day to day tasks. The PM should have strong financial management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IAM strategies and policies.
- Manage user identities and access permissions across various systems.
- Monitor and audit user access rights to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Integrate new technologies into the IAM framework.
- Investigate and resolve IAM-related incidents and breaches.
- Provide training on IAM procedures and best practices.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of IAM projects.
- Ensure that all IAM projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Qualifications:
- Experience with IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, and Saviynt).
- PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals, identity and access management processes
- Proven experience in project management, including developing project plans and managing budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and training abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience and exposure with several delivery methodologies including predictive, hybrid, and agile.
