Power to Hydrogen is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop a scalable and flexible software control system for a fuel cell/electrolyzer product. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of software development processes, along with solid experience in testing and evaluating control systems. We are looking for self-motivated individuals, capable of problem solving with little oversight.

Overview

Responsibilities

·      Assist in the development of control software for commercial products with focus on high reliability and cybersecurity.

·      Review and Support existing software code base as needed.

·      Develop, Deploy, and Test software in both development and production environments.

·      Assist in the test and qualification of developed hardware and software for CE and UL certifications.

·      Document product development stages and design using recognized industry processes and toolsets

·      Work well within team environment and with individual responsibilities.

Qualifications

·      A Bachler’s Degree or higher required, Software, Electrical or Computer Engineering/Science desired.

·      3-5 years of experience minimum in an industry relating to software development.

·      Prior experience with industry accepted software standards, processes, and toolsets.

·      A working familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces.

·      Prior experience developing commercially deployed products is desirable.

·      Programming fluency with C, C++, and Python required.

·      Experience with Arduino, Labview, Influx DB and Grafana is a bonus.

·      Experience with network equipment and software tools is a bonus

·      Familiarity with software standards, ISO, IEC and IEEE.
