A large pharmaceutical client of ours is looking to bring on a team of Maintenance Technicians to support their bulk manufacturing operations.
- Ability to follow prescribed safety and environmental rules and regulations and maintain high quality cGMP standards during the performance of maintaining various equipment
- Knowledge installing, repairing and maintaining mechanical related equipment throughout a Manufacturing environment and the ability to satisfactorily perform all types of industrial mechanical work as assigned
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complete routine maintenance and complex repairs; set ups; changeovers, preventive maintenance, and ongoing adjustments
- Practical knowledge of tools and materials of the mechanical trade
- Ability to follow complex instructions and use our Manufacturing Division business systems (SAP, ADP eTime, etc.) after receiving the appropriate training
- Ability to perform predictive maintenance and reliability tasks as assigned
- Ability to perform a broad scope of overlapping mechanical work
- Operate large valves with use of a valve wrench
- Ability to function effectively during emergency situations
- Computer literacy and ability to work in a paperless environment
- Responsible for written documentation of activities
- Actively supports an inclusion culture with significant interaction with Quality, Technical Operations, Engineering and other support groups
Must haves:
- 2+ years working in an Industrial Maintenance environment.
- High preference for those who have worked in a GMP environment before such as pharmaceuticals, medical device, food processing or cosmetics.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment and responding to preventative maintenance orders
- Experience working with valves, diaphragm changes, pumps, seals
- Experience with or desire to learn calibrations such as pressure, temperature, flow, humidity
- Understanding of LOTO - lock out tag out
- Strong Attention to detail and computer fluency
Pluses:
- Highly prefer military background
- Experience with good documentation practices (GDP)
- Pharma experience
- Degree in Industrial systems, mechanical, electronics, electrical or instrumentation
