Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and early-career Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in public cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS) and a passion for automation, scripting, and DevOps practices. The successful candidate will spend 60% of their time collaborating with internal stakeholders and the remainder working on innovative solutions for clients. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise in cloud technologies within a fast-paced Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions in Azure and AWS.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Terraform to automate workloads and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess requirements, recommend solutions, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Automate cloud provisioning, monitoring, and incident response to enhance reliability and reduce manual tasks.
  • Monitor cloud environments, ensuring security, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Support and troubleshoot cloud-related issues, working closely with internal and external teams.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in cloud technology and DevOps practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience with public cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Terraform, with a strong focus on automation.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and principles, including CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
  • A keen understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud and automation challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in Azure (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) or AWS (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps).
  • Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to monitoring tools and frameworks (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus).
  • An interest in or experience with serverless computing and microservices.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a dynamic and innovative team in the MSP industry.
  • Gain exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies and automation practices.
  • Enjoy a supportive environment for skill development and career growth.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and clients to drive meaningful cloud solutions.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

If you’re passionate about cloud technology, automation, and collaborating with teams to deliver impactful solutions, we’d love to hear from you!
