Role Purpose Statement

As an IT Project Manager, you'll orchestrate high-impact projects within the Sky Chefs IT portfolio, collaborating closely with a dynamic IT team and trusted third-party partners. In this pivotal role, you'll steer large-scale endeavors from conception to completion—crafting strategies, managing timelines, and ensuring flawless execution. Your mission: Deliver innovative solutions that make a difference, all while navigating challenges with precision and flair. Main Accountabilities

  • Drive the end-to-end management of IT projects, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Define and refine project scope, objectives, and deliverables, aligning closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to meet strategic business goals.
  • Oversee IT-related deliverables, fostering stakeholder engagement and responsiveness to ensure success.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards as outlined in the implementation Statement of Work.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies with innovative problem-solving.
  • Track and report project progress, delivering regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead the financial management of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Cultivate collaboration across cross-functional teams and third-party vendors, driving effective communication and synergy.
  • Partner with Change Management experts to ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals.
  • Oversee and report on the entire system implementation lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Provide clear and concise status reports to sponsors, stakeholders, and executives, fostering transparency and trust.
  • Conduct and document comprehensive lessons learned for continuous improvement in the project portfolio.
  • Champion and enforce project methodologies and standards for consistency and quality.
  • Contribute to the broader PMO standardization efforts, enhancing alignment and efficiency across the organization.
  • Participate in governance and compliance activities as it relates to the PM methodology for all IT projects.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
  • Facilitate and document Lessons Learned for completed projects within the portfolio


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • IT Project Management: 8 -10 years (required)
  • A minimum of 8 -10 years of broad IT business experience in IT area management
  • IT infrastructure general knowledge
  • One or more professional certifications or equivalent experience (e.g. PMP, Agile, Change Management)
  • Multi-disciplinary experience (Finance/Accounting, Product Development, IT, Software Development, ERP implementation/operations, Manufacturing, AI and ML)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentation
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences
  • Must be based in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area
