The Senior Electrical Engineer will be an individual contributor within the Neuromodulation Electrical Product Development team. The individual will be responsible for all phases of product development including definition, design, troubleshooting, characterization, and verification of implantable neurostimulators as well as external patient programmers and inductive rechargers. The individual will be an integral part of the R&D organization in delivering the highest quality, life changing technology to our patients. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- 4+ years of Electrical Product Development experience for Class III medical devices
- Analysis of product performance using DFSS techniques
- Design and execute test methods to characterize circuit performance and verify adherence to requirements including test automation
- Design and test devices in a global regulated environment including EMI/EMC, ISO 14708-3, ISO/TS 10974, IEC 60601-2-33, etc
- Electrical engineering skills to design, develop, and debug analog and digital circuitry for implantable medical device product development
