Role Description:

Full-time Marketing and Alumni Development Manager at YMCA Camp Coniston in Grantham, NH. Time will be split between two major areas of focus in collaboration with the Development Director and CEO. The first focus includes managing, aligning and producing external communications that are reflective of YMCA Camp Coniston’s mission and vision, including layout and writing of publications, social media, fund-raising campaigns, grants, web design and collateral. The second area includes administering and growing programs to build and strengthen the alumni community in support of Coniston’s development goals. Periodic travel requirements and occasional time commitments outside of regular office hours. Ability to be in camp several days per week and full time in summer. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Suite Software such as InDesign and Photoshop.

Responsibilities:

Marketing/Communication:

· Provide strategic insight in developing Coniston’s communication calendar

· Create, write, design, and manage Camp’s social media accounts, website, annual publications, newsletters, biannual magazine and fundraising collateral to demonstrate the value of camp.

· Create other marketing and donor solicitation materials as needed

· Manage layout and content of camp’s website and update photo archives

· Promotes a culture that reflects Coniston’s values and creates a “top camp in US” environment.

Alumni and Donor Development:

· Grow, create, and administer programs and events to strengthen community in areas of networking, career counseling, alumni development, and volunteer management.

· Assist in donor events and work in conjunction with the Development Director to identify, write and apply for grant opportunities.
