About the Role

We are looking for experienced and outgoing people to join the FOH team at Marian's. The open positions will encompass serving, greeting guests and clearing tables in a fast-paced, upscale and fun environment. We support a positive culture of promoting from within and are seeking the right candidates who also share our values.  Previous restaurant experience in an upscale, fast paced or fine-dining restaurant required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, provide food & beverage service, and monitor each guests’ dining experience
• Effectively utilize the Toast POS system to take and adjust orders, pace food and process payments
• Interact with the dining room guests, fellow employees, and supervisors in a professional manner
• Present menus, answer questions and make suggestions for all food and beverage items
• Provide guests with information regarding our story and brand
• Record and report any guest allergy or dietary restriction to the kitchen staff
• Communicate respectfully and clearly with service team and management
• Assist teammates to anticipate all other FOH needs
• Engage management for any guest issue or complaint
• Properly set-up the floor and abide by company opening/closing procedures
• Maintain and clean all stations in venue and guests view. Everything should look intentional   
• Complete all end-of-shift financial procedures in accordance with company guidelines
• Additional service and/or operational tasks as determined by lead/management

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2 year of restaurant serving experience in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment
• Excellent communication and hospitality skills
• Desire and dedication to learn and offer a personalized service
• Warm personality and a natural ability to interact with people and create an upbeat, fun atmosphere
• Must be professional, enthusiastic and receptive to performance feedback
• Experience with Resy and Toast preferred
• Bartending and Kitchen experience is a plus but not required
