Overview:
This position is responsible for effective and timely execution of all enrollment activities for all facilities and providers with the health plans contracted with Fairview and government payers.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining enrollment records for billing providers throughout the Fairview Health Services clinics and facilities.
Complete required credentialing applications; send documents for new and established practitioners and facility to the contracted health plans and government payers.
Maintain accurate Epic enrollment information and monitor related work queues.
Collaborate with providers, payers and internal departments on issues related to the provider enrollment process.
Responsibilities/Job Description:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with the health plans and government payers; serving as a link between payers and Fairview Health Services.
Complete initial and recredentialing applications for providers and facilities within the established timeframes
Maintain accurate provider enrollment data within the billing system (such as Epic)
Continual monitoring and maintenance of the work queues related to provider enrollment functions within the billing system (such as Epic)
Provide support to internal departments such as Revenue Cycle working together to eliminate write-offs, Physician Recruitment, System Credentialing and hiring departments by tracking and communicating providers progress through the onboarding process
Manage the data process and documentation flow to facilitate a smooth enrollment process. By maintaining accurate enrollment records
Collaborate with team to maximize overall performance of timely enrollment of providers and facilities.

- 3 to 5 years healthcare experience, background in health insurance contracting, billing and reimbursement preferred.
