SERVICE AMBASSADOR Reports To: Business Office Manager FLSA Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY The Service Ambassador creates a warm and welcoming environment in the lobby by smiling, greeting visitors by name, and learning about guests. Shares important information. Coordinates a fond farewell celebrating discharging patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESCreates warm, welcoming lobby environment by addressing visitors by name and learning about them.Answers phones with cheerful, warm greeting.Makes collection calls as instructed to proactively prevent accounts from becoming delinquent.Answers basic center and business office questions; escalates as needed to appropriate person.Assists with daily candidate interview schedules as needed; greets all incoming candidates and routes them to appropriate person for interview or the center's Director of Human Resources.Processes and distributes the center's incoming and outgoing mail.Accepts and handles payments at desk in accordance with policy and procedures.Maintains the center's Patient Fund Petty Cash box.Prepares, copies, and mails administrative correspondence.Assists with inventory and ordering of office supplies.Maintains business office filing.Follows emergency protocol.Maintains the confidentiality of all residents' records.Reports all instances of abuse or neglect or other concerns to management.Attends and participates in orientation, training, and in-service education, and staff meetings.Ensures all mandatory training is completed on time.Performs other duties as necessary for the successful operation of the center.
