Are you passionate about world travel, history, and learning about cultures? We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flight Agent to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves assisting travelers with their flight arrangements, including booking, rebooking, and canceling air travel. The role also includes handling related travel logistics such as hotels, cars, and rail. Availability during off-hours, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Flight Agent Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing flight options and accurate pricing for international and domestic arrangements
• Ensure all required airline and travel documentation is prepared for passengers.
• Book hotels, cars, and rail as needed
• Assist passengers with seat selection, updating itineraries with TSA PreCheck, Mileage numbers, and global entry information
• Collaborate with Client and Passenger Service Departments to fulfill requests
• Work with the accounting team to reconcile airline tickets
• Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email to ensure a seamless experience for all travelers
• Respond to emails and inquiries promptly within the service level agreement
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Flight Agent Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of Sabre experience, including booking, ticketing, refunds, and exchanges
• At least 3 years of agency experience
• Proficiency in international and domestic fare pricing
• Knowledge of airline and industry policies
• Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and global events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
• A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
