Sales Manager – Custom Printed Apparel and Promotional Products

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana (On-Site)

Compensation: $90,000 base salary + performance bonuses

Benefits: Health insurance, IRA matching, PTO, and additional perks (TBD).

About Us

We are a growing B2B company specializing in custom printed apparel and promotional products. Our primary customers include mid-level management in small to medium-sized businesses, college department heads, union local business managers, and local charity organizations. As we expand our operations to regional and national sales, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team, implement effective strategies, and drive revenue growth.



Key Responsibilities

As the Sales Manager, you will:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to double company revenue within the first year.
  • Improve current sales and customer service procedures to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  1. Team Development:
  • Recruit, train, and build a high-performing sales team, adding 2-3 Salespeople to the team within the first 12 months.
  • Manage and motivate a team of 2-3 CSRs and 2-3 Salespeople to meet and exceed performance targets.
  1. Customer Acquisition:
  • Ensure the sales team focuses on acquiring new customers while maintaining relationships with high-value clients.
  1. Performance Oversight:
  • Set clear team goals, monitor performance metrics, and provide actionable feedback.
  • Manage CRM systems to track sales activities, leads, and customer data.
  1. Community Engagement:
  • Represent the company at local events, client meetings, and industry gatherings to build brand visibility and relationships.



Success Metrics

  • Customer Acquisition: Drive significant growth in the customer base.
  • Revenue Growth: Increase revenue by 100% within the first year.
  • Team Performance: Build and maintain a motivated, results-oriented team.



Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in a B2B sales environment.
  • Proven track record in inside sales and managing successful sales teams.
  • Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Personality Traits:
  • Results-driven, proactive, and a natural motivator.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.



Work Environment

  • This is an on-site role based in Terre Haute, Indiana.
  • Requires travel to visit clients, attend industry events, and participate in local chamber activities.
  • Sales efforts will focus regionally and nationally, making local knowledge advantageous but not essential.

Total Compensation Breakdown

Component


Base Salary

$90,000

Fixed component.


Team Sales Commission

$20,000–$40,000

1% of team sales revenue.


CSR Management Bonus

$5,000

For maintaining high data accuracy and low special cases.


Recruitment & Scaling Bonus

$5,000–$10,000

Based on successful hiring and team performance.


Annual Performance Bonus

$10,000–$20,000

For achieving $2M–$4M in team sales.


Process Improvement Bonus

$5,000

For eliminating operational inefficiencies.


Total Compensation Potential

$135,000–$170,000

Includes variable components.
