We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Mental Health Counselor with a strong background in both pediatric mental health and behavioral therapy. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential and Applied Behavior Analysis background. This unique role requires expertise in evidence-based mental health interventions, behavioral therapy, and the ability to work with diverse populations in a clinical setting.


In this role, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic counseling to clients dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, conducting functional behavior assessments, and designing, implementing, and overseeing individualized behavior modification programs. The role requires a compassionate and holistic approach to mental health treatment as well as a thorough understanding of behavioral principles.  


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide one-on-one therapy and counseling to clients, integrating evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and client progress.
  • Monitor and analyze client behavior, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and training to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and all regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensure required. 
  • Proven experience in applying behavioral analysis principles in clinical practice.
  • Strong understanding of mental health interventions and therapeutic modalities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
