Familiarity with the 340B program is a plus, but we will teach you everything you need to know to be successful. Overview
As Staff Pharmacist in the pharmacy, you play the central role in overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Below is an overview of key responsibilities and expectations for this position.
Supervision
The Staff Pharmacist will report directly to the Regional Pharmacy Operations Manager.
- This position will be full time on-site and requires travel to various locations in the Philadelphia region.
Job Duties:
- Review provider’s prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and legality prior to dispensing pharmaceuticals
- Develop and maintains good relationships with community health center partners
- Develop strong relationships with patients of the community health center by anticipating their needs and providing services in an efficient manner.
- Increase health center budgets through appropriate dispensing
- Oversee daily functions of lead and staff technicians and delivery drivers
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
- Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of Pharmacist experience in retail
- 340B experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues
- Ability to enforce company standard policies and procedures
