Addiction Counselor – Drug and Alcohol Treatment facility

This is a treatment program in need of an experienced Counselor who is passionate about providing these individuals who have been incarcerated, with both group therapy and 1 on 1 treatment. We are seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor who is able to treat clients in a respectful, responsive and caring way.

NO nights and NO weekends! This position is Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Addiction Counselor:

• Provide ASAM assessments; develops individualized treatment plans and coordinates the initial and periodic treatment plans
• Maintain client records and completes required documentation
• Present individual counseling session based on the areas of Relapse Prevention, Addictive Behaviors, and Co-occurring disorders.
• Individual and Group Counseling
