Job Summary:

Description: Hours 7am - 5:30pm (4) 10 hours/day

Responsible for assisting physicians with the performance of cardiology related procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including left heart cath/right heart cath/PCI/IABP insertion/Pericardiocentesis/Swan-Ganz insertion/stress testing/nuclear stress testing/implantable LOOP recorder.

Will function in multiple areas with the cardiology area such as Cath Lab/Stress Lab/Nuclear Stress Lab.

Will function in a variety of roles such as radiology technologist/documenter/Stress Lab assistant/Nuclear Stress Lab assistant.

Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of specific education or an associate’s degree in radiologic technology or a closely related field.

A minimum of one-year previous experience. RT(R) registration required. CPR certification required. ACLS required ASPE certification is a plus but not required
