Human Resources Generalist
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations within the organization. This position focuses on implementing HR strategies and initiatives to enhance people, processes, and resources. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director, you will contribute to employee engagement, retention, and the development of a strong organizational culture, all while driving productivity.
This role requires a solid understanding of HR principles, benefits administration, and compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. The ideal candidate is a proven multitasker, capable of managing shifting priorities while partnering with leaders and employees to foster an inclusive and growth-oriented workplace.
Education, Requirements, Certifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field, plus three years of HR experience with expertise in benefits, HRIS, and talent acquisition, or equivalent work experience.
- HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Partner with the HR Director and functional teams to align people initiatives with business goals across the U.S., Ireland, and Mexico.
- Assist in implementing and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, providing guidance to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Serve as the steward of the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy in employee data and generating insightful reports for decision-making.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to address staffing needs and support recruitment efforts.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding process, including data entry, compliance audits, and new hire orientation.
- Administer benefits, including open enrollment, COBRA, and compliance with relevant legislation such as FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA.
- Maintain accurate and accessible personnel files.
- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and conduct investigations as needed to ensure a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
