Job Description

Overview : This position will have rotating shifts in Salem and Grand Ronde, Oregon. Our department values detail oriented technicians who are able to see the forest and the trees. There are two new openings available. These new positions will ensure that the daily workload continues to be comfortably balanced among the technician team. Weekly shifts at Grand Ronde are four 10 hour shifts and Salem shifts are five 8 hour shifts, no nights, holidays, or weekend shifts. This position has many benefits that are beyond what a typical retail or hospital pharmacy technician would encounter.

Technicians who do well in this environment enjoy interacting with patients. They understand the purpose of this work is to serve the Tribal membership and its community in ways that ensure the patients receive quality, evidence based care. They are able to easily collaborate with prescribers from other clinic departments. They are flexible in the daily tasks assigned to them. They generally have several years of experience in the retail environment and find value in a practice site that supports a work life balance. They also appreciate being assigned different workstations throughout the month.

Applications are to be submitted via the Tribal employment page by clicking on the CTGR Employment Opportunities link: . If you have questions about the position, feel free to contact me at 503-879-2299.
