Govig & Associates (Govig Healthcare Group) has been retained by a top Skilled Nursing provider in the industry. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of a facility in Milford, DE . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that residents receive high-quality care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a compassionate approach to resident care, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Supervise staff across various departments including nursing, social work, and home community care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to long-term care facilities.
  • Oversee medication administration processes to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Foster a positive environment for residents with developmental disabilities, promoting their dignity and independence.

Requirements

  • Background in nursing or social work is preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
