Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Driver has the responsibility to deliver parts to our customers and assist with inventory processes and tasks in the store. This position requires a valid drivers license with a good driving record and must be cleared by our insurance to drive company vehicles. This position will be part-time with hours Monday thru Saturday.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.General AccountabilitiesSafely deliver parts to customers as needed.Collect payment from customers.Be professional and courteous to delivery site staff.Assist with task and inventory processes in the store.Pick and stage parts for customer orders.Pick up returns and cores.Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lotDaily inspection of delivery vehicleMaintain fuel at full on delivery vehicle.General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.Assist stocking and cleaning with focus on warehouse items.Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.Proper use of PPE*The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Must have a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.Ability to drive standard and automatic transmissionBasic driving and navigation abilityAbility to use delivery board system.Friendly communicationAbility to multi-taskAbility to locate and stock parts.Operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipmentMust be dependable and punctual.Must be able to remain in a standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.Be able to work in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
