Responsible for performing production work. Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. Inspects product to ensure high quality and works in a safe manner at all times.
Dimensions of Position:
Schedule: 2nd shift: 3P-11P 3rd Shift: 11P-7A
Compensation Expectations: Starting at $19.87/HR.
• Work from schedules and instructions to demold VISO pieces
• Inspect bags, PURs, and IPs devices to make sure they are on center, seated properly and within specifications; also must watch for defects and rejects.
• Use production print to fill pieces to the proper specifications; marking sleeve levels and seat levels.
• Reassemble tooling as required by reattaching head and ears to IP mandrel. Put on closure, tighten band around top of bag to seal tooling. Move tooling to allow press car to pick up and return to filler.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
• Follow Quality Assurance Standards, strictly adhering to all procedures
**Must be able to work in variable departments**
Qualifications & Experience:
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision, be able to perform repetitive lights, good detail skills, able to handle multiple tasks, get along with co-workers, and accept instruction when needed
• Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, decimals, fractions) and pass Math test I
• Minimum of 3 weeks training with experienced press operator. Must be able to read and interpret production prints
Physical Requirements:
• Walking short distances through the department/building.
• Use hands/arms to operate required equipment.
• Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Continuously stand, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, etc.
