Job Title: IT Help Desk Support Specialist
ADVYON Business Technology, an award-winning information technology (IT) company in Summerville, SC, is looking for an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to work directly with businesses in the Charleston, SC, area. We want people passionate about customer service and technology to add to our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls, emails, and tickets from clients and addressing their technical inquiries
- Dispatching technical support tickets to the appropriate teams and following up on their progress
- Setting up new computers, laptops, and other technology devices for clients
- Assisting in the resolution of technical issues, including hardware and software problems
- Performing general IT tasks, including software and hardware installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Documenting all technical support activities and updating clients on the status of their issues
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective technical support
- Some dispatching to customer sites may be required.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ticket tracking systems, remote desktop tools, and basic network troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- A clean record is required . ADVYON is SLED Certified and works with Law Enforcement, Local Government, Schools, and Government Contractors
- Able to demonstrate professionalism in communication and appearance
