Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Edmond clinic. This position offers flexible hours, with a weekly schedule of 30-40 hours. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work until 6:00 or 7:00 PM on select days to meet patient needs.
As a PTA, you will work under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists to provide exceptional care and help patients achieve their functional goals. Your role will be instrumental in delivering hands-on therapy, promoting patient engagement, and supporting a positive clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatment techniques.
• Educate patients on therapeutic activities, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and updates in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that equipment is used safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Oklahoma.
• Previous outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus but not requirednew graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings as needed.
• Passion for helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
