Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our Insurance Defense team. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance defense litigation and a passion for providing high-quality legal services to our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including case analysis, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to develop case strategies.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Provide timely updates to clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders regarding case developments and strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure cases are managed effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards while upholding the firm's reputation for excellence.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
• 1-5 years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation (other levels of experience may be considered).
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality legal work.
• Trial or arbitration experience is a plus but not required.
