A company in the Houston area is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for designing cutting edge generator solutions.

Responsibilities include:

-Participate in the development of innovative system level concepts and designs that meet project and cost targets.

-Interface with suppliers and prototype vendors to obtain quotes, make design changes and execute project initiatives.

-Create and modify detailed drawings, draft conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches, or discussions. Be creative in taking an idea and studying the details before converting it into a design.

-Create, update, and maintain project documentation including 3D Models, 2D drawings, product specifications, Autodesk Vault, and testing requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-3+ years of experience designing electrical components

-Prior experience designing control systems, relay systems, or smaller cable systems

-Experience within renewables, solar, or battery industry preferred

-Experience using AutoCAD

Compensation:

$40/hr to $50/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
