Our client consists of eight Attorneys and three International/Economic Trade Specialists supporting global companies with mergers & acquisitions (M&A) along with trade adherence to domestic U.S. government law and deregulation proceedings. We’re seeking a Jr. Paralegal with a completed bachelor’s degree and 1+ year experience drafting analytical memorandums. We're seeking a recent graduate, with awareness of international trade practices, international law along with understanding policy, legal matters, research, and legal writing projects. The Paralegal would monitor case activity in the following websites: U.S. Department of Commerce (“DOC”), U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. International Trade Commission (“ITC”), U.S. Court of International Trade (“CIT”), U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and World Trade Organization (“WTO”).
We’re seeking a Jr. Paralegal with the ability to review records for appeals, in addition to preparing oral arguments and evidentiary appendices. We’re seeking comfortability using all Microsoft products for drafting correspondence in Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, and Adobe PDF displaying financial accounting principles including generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Our client requires a weekly hybrid schedule of two days on-site in their DC office, and three days remote. This is a 2-month contract (w/ possible extension) starting February 24, 2025!!
