LHH is currently recruiting a Contract Coder for one of our top clients in Baltimore, MD. This fully on-site position offers the potential for permanent employment. This position has become available due to the addition of new providers, resulting in a backlog of work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform coding for Evaluation and Management (E&M) services, office procedures, preventive medicine services, labor and delivery, radiology, and surgical procedures.
• Manage coding for multiple facilities utilizing various computer systems.
• Generate and upload reports into coding software.

Qualifications:

• CPC or CCS certification is mandatory.
• Full on-site availability is required.
• Experience with Epic and IDX is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous coding experience is preferred, although newly certified coders are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to accuracy and ability to meet production targets.

Compensation:

$21 to $28 per hour, based on experience.
