MUST HAVES

• 6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Strong proficiency in routing and switching in Layer 2 and Layer 3
• Understanding of firewall principles
• ACI experience
• Familiarity with Cisco environments and SOX compliance
• Experience with various network technologies and the ability to challenge and optimize current practices
• Strong leadership and soft skills, with interest in growing into a team lead role in a few years with strong technical abilities
• Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of equivalent experience

PLUSSES

• Prior Project management experience (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt)
• Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNA)
• Prior application-centric experience, as they are currently network-centric

DAY TO DAY

• Daily work consists of routing/switching, CCNA, Cisco, Cisco ACI, Firewall (Palo Alto and others), and SD-WAN
• Assist with the transitioning of APN tasks to different networks
• Revisiting primary backup connections to data centers (potential routing changes) and being able to understand and assist architect that initiative
• Potential Azure networking projects as more services may move to Azure
• Working with micro segmentation using OpenShift
• Seeking someone who can grow into a team lead role in a few years with strong technical abilities
