Role: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Plymouth, MN

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

2-5 years’ experience minimum in R&D or Quality role

Bachelor level degree in an Engineering Discipline or other Technical Field

Preferred BS in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Biomedical Medical (BME) or related science-based discipline

Location – Woodridge, Saint Paul (Little Canada)

Requisition Description:

This position will support a new product development project as a supplier quality engineer.

The role will be working with new components and raw materials – developing supplier relationships, inspection methods and supplier qualifications.

This position will require the engineer to work with internal stakeholders to ensure inspections are occurring to meet project timelines.

The position will review and approve documentation and investigate nonconformances.

Key Responsibilities:

Organization and support of inspection and documentation review

Technical support for inspectors and inspection activities.

Support project deliverables including qualification of components.

Strong attention to detail and requirements for documentation reviews

Experience with inspection activities

Strong communication experience to support working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
