Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Manufacturing Engineer 4 in Lafayette, Indiana. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $51/hr including full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, and 401K. Cullerton Group will provide H1B Sponsorship.
Typical task breakdown:
- Weekly staff and prioritization meetings
- Facilitate the development of APQP documentation including, but not limited to process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams
- Support and tracking of recommended action from the process FMEAs
- Independent scheduling and leading APQP readiness meetings with manufacturing engineering teams
- Review and /or develop process capability studies, measurement systems analysis
- Create final production part approval documentation (PPAP)
- Formal documentation and presentation at stakeholder updates
Interaction with team :
Work with many departments to ensure each new capital program is properly supported for every aspect of quality readiness. Including metallurgical testing, metrology equipment, CMM programming, validation results.
Work environment :
- Offices are located inside of factory work setting
- Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering required
- 8-10 years experience required
- 5 years of experience within manufacturing- machining
