Day to Day:

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for programming and maintaining VTScada applications to monitor critical plant utilities, including water/waste management, tank farms, compressed air, and production lighting etc. They will travel 10% of the time to local sites for data integration and confirming data methods as well as connecting the data and visualization development. They will support program graphics, visual screens, and servers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with hardware troubleshooting as they will be working with the VTScada support team to troubleshoot issues. Pay is based on years of experience but starts at $50hr

Must Haves:

• 3-5 years of controls engineering experience x
• 1+ years of programming VT Scada (graphics, widgets, visualization)
• Familiarity with PLC’s, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC) and database systems.
• Hardware troubleshooting

Plusses:

• Networking experience
• Data Visualizations and data integration

Compensation:

$50/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
