Job Description:
Business objective/business purpose of project:
- Paint PE Simultaneous Engineering.
- New model introduction planning and development.
Line of business within Client:
- Identify new vehicle change points.
- Study how change points impact to current process and production.
- Ensure new model meet Paint safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Communicate with Designer and others stack holder (Production) to get one voice.
Team information:
- Act 1. Planning and support Production team (Act 2)
- Utilize digital engineering, CAE, 3D modeling, Rapid Prototype to study and simulate process during design phase development.
Other group interactions:
- Our SE team provide vehicle specification and process impact to others team Act1; Planning, Materials, and Equipment.
Day to day responsibilities for this resource:
- Communicate with stack holders Pilot and other group to get one voice on process requirements.
- Share and learn Paint standard and requirements within SE team and counterpart in Japan.
- There would be day to day interaction with others Paint SE members, Japan counterparts, and Pilot Production members.
- Support Paint SE (Simultaneous Engineer) group to develop and update Paint SE standard check sheet, benchmark, feedback from other projects to continue improve Paint SE quality, safety, productivity, and cost.
- Overall project schedule planning/maintenance.
- Developing planning standard.
Requirements:
Top skills:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related degree
- Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling, AutoCad, Catia.
- Overall project schedule planning and project management.
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Power-Point, Word, Outlook)
