This role would suit an individual from a machining / job shop background with previous leadership experience, looking for the next step in their career within a growing business offering long term career development.

The Role:

• Leading a team of 25 people (Machinists, CNC Programmers, Welders, Maintenance staff etc.)
• Ensuring efficiency and quality in the shop floor operations of manufactured goods
• Involved with planning, scheduling, problem solving and quality non-conformances
• Leading and driving improvements on manufacturing activities
• Mentoring and training new personnel within the department
• Monday - Friday, 1st shift (flexible starting hours between 6-8am)

The Person:

• Machining / Job Shop background
• Strong background with CNC machines and welding equipment
• Experience within a senior / lead / supervisory role
• Able to read and interpret engineering blueprints
• Experience within a tight tolerance / aerospace industry would be advantageous (not required)
