Job Title: Network Engineer Yang

Location: Remote (East Coast hours)

Compensation Expectation: $150-180k

The Company: A cutting-edge software company providing multipurpose entanglement-based quantum network software and solutions. Starting in some of the most prestigious labs in the nation, they build and deploy quantum networks capable of running multiple applications including secure communications, quantum computing, and quantum sensing.

The Role of Network Engineer - YANG

We are looking for engineers who want to make critical contributions to an exciting new field. Your role will focus on developing YANG modules for quantum networking hardware.

You will also work on developing southbound interface software and testing device interfaces.

• Collaborate to build software for orchestrating quantum secure communication networks.
• Develop YANG modules for quantum network devices.
• Develop interface software as necessary.
• Test interfaces and orchestration systems.

Skills & Experience

• Experience developing YANG modules
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools
• Python experience
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts (switching, addressing, ports, TCP, etc.)
• Excited to be working in a new field

Nice to Have

• GitHub contributions
• Web development experience
• Testing experience
• Interest in quantum computing
