Title: Datacenter Technician
Location: Onsite – Boydton, VA
Pay Rate: $22-26/hr
Duration: 1 Year ongoing contracts – up to 3-4 years
Must be USC or GC holder
Compensation:
$23/hr to 26/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Ideal candidate:
- 1-2+ years of experience working within a Data Center (on the hardware and server-side)
- Experience working within the IT helpdesk space

These candidates should be a level 2 and level 3 with hardware break fix experience (not cabling). Below is a breakdown of shifts and days expected to work!
Hours: 7AM – 6:30PM
- 1 hour lunch and 30 minute afternoon break
3 openings with A Shift: 1x Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
5 openings with B Shift: 1x Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Must-haves
Level 2 experience working in a Test Lab environment working with Hardware
Hands on experience with servers, memory, hard-drives, and storage hardware assembly, installation, testing and integrations
Proficient in hardware troubleshooting and stress testing of systems and components
Familiar with building, debugging, testing, repairing and upgrading computer prototypes (computers, servers, peripherals)
Day-to-Day
Our client is looking for a Data-center Test Technician for the Boydton, VA area. The System Test Technician will perform comprehensive hardware failure analysis activities to determine quality of products and systems according to the overall specifications. They will reconfigure hardware and firmware; run diagnostics and perform systems troubleshooting. The support will also include break-fix support for new rack deployment, incident management support for sustain operations and project related support to any DC related activity as directed by the customer. He/She will need to be familiar with hardware troubleshooting and have some working knowledge working with Linux/Windows Command Lines. Our candidate will also need to participate in failure analysis within Test Lab environments, as well as, logistical support for Asset Management, including Datacenter Floor Plan Audit, etc.
